Reclaim your sense of self: Thrive in your relationships without losing your way
I help my clients end the cycle of over giving then shutting down, with a sense of ease and confidence in themselves.
My clients are smart. They understand that they can’t change their parents, their partners, their bosses or friends. But, when they’re honest, they feel overly responsible for the relationship and crave more support themselves
My clients come in wanting better boundaries, but feel anxious about driving people away
My clients, like you, come in wanting to fill their cups but are constantly running on empty. The thought of saying no fills them with dread and a list of consequences; however, all the ‘yes’s’ leave them angry, exhausted and frustrated with life
Many of my clients grew up expected to be self reliant, viewed as more independent than what was true, and often, served as the voice of reason - shouldering their parent’s emotions
I help my clients push past limiting beliefs and conditioning that fuels the over preforming. We work collaboratively to uncover the origin stories that serve as the foundation of your symptoms and struggles today. We agree on what you want from therapy and we go after it in a clear way.
The process
-
1. Consultation
We will have a free 30 minute consultation to connect and see if we are a good fit for one another. If I feel a referral would be more helpful for you I will provide you with options.
-
2. Intake Session
We will dive right into what is brining you to therapy with a 90 minute session focusing on inquiry into your problems you’d like help with and your goals.
-
3. Regular Therapy Sessions
A typical therapy schedule is once per week for 50 minutes. Meeting regularly allows us to stay connected to our work together. You may have different needs, and other arrangements can be discussed.
-
4. Ending Therapy
Once you feel better and your goals are accomplished we will determine a plan for winding down our sessions. A plan will be in place so that you feel confident about integrating all of the work you’ve done.
