Caitlin is a psychotherapist specializing in experiential dynamic psychotherapy

About Me

I have deep respect and admiration for every person who takes the brave step of entering therapy. I understand how transformative this journey can be because I have experienced it myself. I’ve evolved from feeling insecure and overly agreeable to embracing my worth and building healthy relationships. While I’m still a work in progress, I know firsthand that the power of effective therapy combined with your personal will to grow can lead to profound change.

For over 12 years, prior to private practice, I worked in non-profit programs specifically serving survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault, providing support and treatment during some of life’s most challenging moments. In addition to my direct work with clients, I’ve enjoyed the rewarding experience of supervising master’s level counseling students, nurturing the next generation of social workers.

My approach to therapy is rooted in compassionate honesty. I believe in the power of being focused, direct, and engaged, but always with a gentle touch. I aim to create a space where you feel safe to explore your deepest truths and where honesty feels like an invitation rather than an attack. My background in mindfulness and mind-body modalities, including a three-year program in Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy and three years of core training in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), informs my holistic approach to healing.

It is a privilege to be chosen as a partner on your journey. Together, we will navigate the complexities of your experiences, empowering you to reclaim your life and live authentically.

Outside of my work, I find joy in the simple pleasures of life—spending time with animals, moving my body, gardening, and relish any time I get to be by the ocean. These passions keep me connected and grounded, reminding me of the beauty in the world around us.
